A LifeCycle Assessment is a technique to investigate and assess environmental loads and assess the environmental impacts associated with all stages of a product or service due to its existence.
LifeCycle Analysis
A LifeCycle Analysis allows us to:
- Identify opportunities to improve the environmental performance of products and processes.
- Informing decision makers in industry, government, or non-governmental organizations (for example, for the purpose of strategic planning, priority setting, product or process design or redesign)
- Selection of relevant environmental performance indicators.
- Use as a marketing tool (for example, implementing an eco-labelling scheme, eco-design, or preparing an environmental product declaration).
