About the standard

Prevent waste generated by an activity from being sent to landfill.

Directs efforts towards the concepts of reduction, reuse, recycling, composting and recovery.

The certification team verifies the traceability of the material flow.

The audit team verifies that the organization is capable of avoiding depositing waste in landfills by at least 90%.
