    What are the steps to become certified?

    The first step is to contact us, certifications.spain@controlunion.com ;where we will schedule a call to discuss your particular needs and fill out the application form.

    Acceptance of proposals and audit planning

    If you agree with our proposal, you can send us your signed offer as a formalization of the contract. With the acceptance of the contract, you will be able to fill in the applications for registration in the chosen certification scheme, since one of the requirements is to have a signed contract with the certification body. Our planning department will contact you to plan the exact date for the audit.

    Report and corrective actions

    After the conclusion of the audit, the auditor will present the Non-Conformities (NC) or findings and discuss the next steps, sending you the audit report. Within the established timeframe, the corrective action plan, if applicable, should be submitted in response to the resolution of the deviations detected and specified in the audit report.

    PAC review and certificate issuance

    The auditor will review the report, and in case of compliance, forward it to the technical management for evaluation, approval, decision making and issuance of the certificate. If the results of the certification process comply with the requirements of the audited scheme and UC procedures, a certificate will be issued. If the results are not satisfactory, you will be informed of the results.
